My apologies for the very long update. I’ve been really feeling down the past few days because a good friend of mine passed away last Sunday. Up until now, I still can’t accept the fact the she’s gone cos we were so happy when I visited her last Tuesday before she left us. She looks so happy and so healthy that I’ve no idea she’ll leave us na. The fact that I will no longer see her in the office is making my heart bleed. I’m still in a state of denial. I still can’t believe that she’s gone. I didn’t even look at her inside the coffin because I wanted to remember her as the Nerisse who is so bubbly, perky and full of life. She succumbed to Lung Cancer by the way. Goodbye my good friend Nerisse, I will miss you!

Mamimiss ko ang once a week na eat-all-you-can natin sa Dad’s, ang MRT rides, ang pagtawag ko sayo ng “naglalakad ng ref” dahil laging puno ng pagkain ang station mo, ang pagiging sport mo sa mga pamimikon ko . Sobrang mami-miss kita!

Guys, please pray for her soul.

If there’s one thing that I’ve learned from what happened, its showing love and care to the people around you that matters to you most. We’ll never know when they will be gone so as early as now, while they’re still here, let’s show them how much we love them cos tomorrow, they may be gone.

And one more thing, live everyday as if its our last day. Do what you want to do now, cos you may no longer have the chance to do it tomorrow.

By the way, the voting for CANDY TEEN BLOG AWARDS 2008 officially ended today. I would like to thank all the people who voted for me and who believed in me. Win or lose, I’m still happy because I’ve met a lot of cool people there and I really enjoyed being part of the contest. It just sucks that this will be my last year to join cos I’m already 25 but man, it’s all good. Good luck to all the contestants and congratulations to those who will win.
